I don't remember which demo is which, but I'll list them in order (demo0001-demo0003, multiplayer demos 0001 and 0002).

"Normal" graphics settings, but tweaked such that all textures are maxed out in size, opengl mode set to 'performance' instead of 'compatibility', shadow maps are precached and memory is pretouched.

Is multiplayer 0002 the Metropolis one? With the LOADS of kleers? That probably explains the 9.7, heh. And the average poly count isn't enormous because a good portion has very few polys, just the winding road.
Must resist buying GF2 for $140 on pricewatch...

The benchmark i did there was on the Demo called Dunes.
This game is a wery good benchmark prog:)
Much better than 3DMark2001 if you ask me:)

3D Mark is Direct X only, whereas Serious Sam is open gl. Nevermind which one is better, they do different things and should be used together, one giving DX performance and the other giving opengl performance.

Crap on a stick I hate you guys with fast machines:)
I was getting something 29.8 average on my piece of crap celeron 450 w/ V3 3000 using WGL. But things run a lot smoother at that fps with SS then Q3 runs at 50 fps.
Those results were with nothing tweaked, I'm thinking about dumping some of the effects like lens flare and shadows for online play. I'll see how that improves things.

type in /dem_bProfile=1 at the console and then run a demo using the menu.
