Make your window polygons translucent and portal.
Other than that i use full bright and a reflective texture that has additive blendmode and polygoncolor at approx 50% .bright

Just create a MovingBrush; the small globe thingy will be the axis.

Use moving brushes.
-) Drag a moving brush entity into your world (the icon with the white plate and the arrow)
-) Add your door geometry to the movingbrush worldbase
-) Rightclick on the movingbrushmarker icon (white plate with 3 arrows)
-) Select "select for dropmarker"
-) Select your door entity.
-) Place it in closed position
-) Press 'D' - a movingbrushmarker will be created with the position and rotation of your closed door
-) Move/Rotate your door open
- Press 'D' - another movingbrushmarker will be created
- Set your movingbrush target to the closed door marker
- Set wait on your closed door marker to 5.
- Check "stop moving" on your open door marker
- Add a doorcontroler entity to your world
- Set doorcontroller target to your moving brush (not a marker)
That should be it (i hope)
Targets (just for a checkup)
Dorcontroller target 1: Moving brush
Movingbrush target: Closed door marker
Closed door marker target: Open door marker
Open door marker target: Closed door marker

Here are the polygon settings:

You can just take a paintbrush in photoshop and draw a little something here and there. The pattern doesn't matter. (white on a black background)

Looks like a good glass texture. I was using a light metal reflection texture for mine.
