In my level, 4 badly triangulated polygons are somewhere. Unfortunately there are 23220 polygons that are making it a bit difficult to find just those four.

In Half Life there was a trace tool that would point to where the level was leaking. I am wondering if there is a similar way to get to them in SS.

Does it matter if they remain in the level, apart from when you do find them you are able to look into the 'void'. In half life, sorry to bring that up all the time, but I know it well, it would reduce the performance of the vis utilities. But SS works differently.

Thanks,

there is no such marvelous tool. and it matters little, since if you cant find them, and the player cant either, they have absolutely no effect on performance.

Kind of explains the absence of a 'state of Oregon' in the Netherlands :)

Thanks again for the help.

I believe there was an option somewhere that was 'Select all badly triangularized polygons'
I can't find it in the new patch though :( probably just forgot.

It is still there, only it will select all of them, so centering on it will center on the point of all four combined. If there was only one, that would be the way to do it indeed.
