I am looking for tutorials thats based on using the editor in vertex mode....

i dont think there are any.
what do you need to know? vertex mode is pretty straight forward.
just select the vertex then control drag it to the position you want.

Yes, go to www.worldspawn.org where you can find one on advanced polygon stuff, that includes vertex.

Its not called Vertex there, it's called Advanced Polygon, or something like that... but i did cover vertex in that one. Its the one where i make a model of an ugly boy in serious ed.
