texture preview

how do i make it so when i insert texture that i made so that it apears on the menu thing for textures but as a little one like the ones that come with it

I fixed it. It was a problem with an alpha channel in the texture: it was a black alpha channel.

I'm not saying you're incompetent though. You probably aren't using anything fancy like Photoshop and even if you are, well you're probably not a 2d genius who's main job is to develop wonderful images and textures.

right click in the virtual tree then go to textures and click "insert items" locate your texture
