dam caves

when ever i make a cave by combining 2 terrains that i have used displacment mapping for i put them together and some parts disapear and i cant jump past the middles between the 2 plz help me

I had that problem, but I couldn't fix it properly. The only way i could do it was change the vertexes around to make them match the other cave then put the both as portals to limk them together.

Whats the better way somebody?? :confused:
