Export terragen terrain into a pcx file or something that Serious Editor can read?

i just use a program called snagit to take the topmap and save it as .pcx

i forgot where i got it. ill try to upload it my site.

set the camera to a high altitude above the terrain, and set it to look straight down. render the image on screen and printscreen, paste into photo prog and save as .pcx, thats how i do it, there may (probably is) a better way!

if you mean, how do you export the black and white heightmap that it uses to generate the terrain, you can export it in RAW format from terragen, then open this in photoshop, or paintshop pro, or a similar program that can open RAW. For getting the texture out, use the method Pompey described.
