I have a problem with my dm level
I have 12 or so player start points, but when i play the level only a 5 or 6 seem to be operative. Is it to do with the world settings, i have all the check boxes on the left half checked and just the D on the other! I havent touched anything here tho, but i checked it against the desert temple level and the same boxes are checked.
please help!

some more info, ive been searching further thru the forums and so as not to waste peoples time:
none of the plyrstarts are grouped
none are quickstarts
i found somewhere that the engine sorts all possible spawn points and sets u randomly in the 50% furthest away, i seem to be respawning only in one part of the map (the lower half of my tower)! even if i kill sam at the top or bottom, i dont get it?

Have you tried it in a true multiplayer game - IIRC the engine chooses among alive players (I haven't got the code here so unfortunately I can't check). Therefore you may not be given a true picture of the spawning, when playing it single player.

Cheers Sh0dan that seems to be it! it seems as tho the algorithm for player spawning is reversed so in 1p u respawn somewhere in the closest 50% rather than the furthest, i guess this is handy to check for bugs, tho it confused the hell out of me!
