i had this same problem a while back and professor asko PHD who coded it says to be remedied you must not have SED or other stuff that uses the gro files open! THEN IT SHALL WORK!

Sometimes it is possible that SEd stays in the memory after closing - hit CtrlAltDel (lol! cad!) and search the processes tab for it.

Me too!!!

- One more thing: my friend made up a map for his mod but he put the textures like this: mods/mymod/textures/thetextures.tex and he wants the gro file to be inside mods/mymod/ folder but he says that this doesn't work!!! The gro file is detected by the game but then, when he tries to load the level up says that the textures cannot be found. It is because the game cannot read "mods/mymod/pak.gro/textures/"?!? If it is, he will not create anymore gro files 'cause the map has too many polygons to select!
