Im trying to make it look like a four seperate streams of water is coming from four different statues, but when i set them up, only two of the streams are working. I tried switching two of the particle effects, one that worked, on that didnt, and the one that didnt work started working, and the one that worked stopped working. Why does this happen?

Do they activate/deactivate when moving around? Could be a visibility problem - if the statues are not models but world bases rather, mark all of their polygons "Detail" or try "Portal" so that entities that are possibly stuck in them (ParticlesHolder in this case) are always shown.

Hm... find a workaround, ParticlesHolders never work as you want :-/
(workaround = without them)

quick test:
multiple particle holders work fine for me. maybe there's something wrong with your PH properties. post a sample map demonstrating the problem.
