hi there
GMS, or anyone else, i need to know which files and what kind of script language i need to look at in order to do the following:
have in a menu somewhere (i have the menu in mind, i just forget where, you'll understand) two settings for video (like speed vs quality settings)
1) normal play
This will be my normal game play settings. 800x600x32 all vid settings up. Weapon model and crosshair visible; huds: normal size, normal opacity, fps latency and netgraph enabled; model shadows: complex (multiple lights)
2) Screenshot Mode
This will be what i use to take screenies. 320x240x32, all vid settings up; weapon model and crosshair hidden; no huds visible at all; model shadows dissabled
it'd also be super keen to have 4xfsaa enabled in screeny mode (voodoo5) but i'm oretty sure that's not possible without quiting and coming back to the game.
i don't need the full script written for me, just the pertinant info so i can do it myself. thanks a bunch!!
