Hi, I'm new to Serious Editor and I'm having problems getting an elevator to work in a level I'm creating. I'm usinc the method for a door as described in the beginner door tutorial, but going vertically rather than horizontally. However, for some reason my platform seems to hollow out for no reason at all while the player is riding it upwards. It also goes very quickly on the first run, then each run after that is at the same slower speed. Also, while trying to fix it, my entire map has somehow been turned green (nothing selected, tried every mode) when i have shadows on. It looks normal when they are off, so somehow a light must have turned green or something but I can't find it.

F3 = toggle light performace display (green to red surfaces)
F4 = toggle lit/unlit display (purple surfaces)

If you mean the elevator is hollow, select all its polys and hit D.
If you mean the elevator disappears, the you need to assign a new origin to it, do this by dragging a new MB in its center and then adding the elevator to it.
The speed variation can be caused by the wrong attributes in the elevator markers, select each and control their speed values (or set them to "-1" and use only the MB speed).
