I donīt understand completely, but you can try reInstalling the game. :)

Why are you guys trying to run Serious Sam with a crap PC anyway?
16 Mb? Thatīs worse than Disconnectorīs specs. o_O

I don't know why Serious editor crashes when I open or create a level. It says that NVOPENGL.dll is the problem. I changed the Win32 API from opengl to Direct 3D and it works but I still don't know what the hell is wrong with the opengl...

btw; I have a GEForce 5200 video card

you know fiendan, not everyone wins the lottery weekly. You might do with your pentium 4 2.8e but we dont (what the hell does e on 2.8e mean)

btw im getting an amd 64 3400+ with an ati 9800 256mb ddr2 graph. card at the end of year so :tongue2:

my mate syphus ran it on an amd 500 with 256 ram and a tnt1 16mb agp 2x graph. card. :bawling:

You should atleast get yourself a normal gfx card for $20 or so, doesn't even have to be good, but not some crappy onboad solution which is made for office users who don't play games at all.

Win a lotteri?
A ok card costs less than $50 these days. ;)

Btw, I donīt know what the 'e' means, I just saw it on the box. "2.80e Ghz".

i did upgrade my graphics but it still runs like s**t. maybe its because its a 32 mb sdram card :meh:

it was the only card in this really cheap place that worked on my particular motherboard cos its an agp 4x from 2001

also i play ss on my dads pc not mine. i use mine for editing on and playing old games like baldurs gate and quake 3. they run fine. btw my dads pc is a 2.8 with 1 gig ram and an fx5600 :grr:

Anyway, as this thread was saying, maybe its the fact that you've got win 98 as your os that ss doesnt run in the editor, or whatever. o yeh, do you have the driver installed for your graphics card, cos openGL support would be on the cd.

Then get a better motherboard, theyīre very cheap compared to other parts.

I run SS with everything on highest without getting a single hitch.
And I gotta tell you, it looks nice. :D
