I don't know there is allready a topic with this problem but I don't thinks so...
when I want to change a texture (offset, scretch, rotation) I just doesn't do anything. First it did, but then I got problems with the editor as well (it wouldn't start at all) so I had to reinstal the total game and lost my savegames :cry2:
Is there someone with this problem, and how do I fix it
thx

When you entered a value, you have to hit Return (Enter) to apply it.

It has happened to me that when I press Enter after writing new number, nothing happens. Then I write another one, press Enter and everything is fine again.

Porbably you went away with your mouse cursor... if you let it float over a window, the keyboard focus on the text field will be deactivated.

No, thatīs not the problem.
I always make sure the mouse is in the box. This is just a minor bug probably.

It was designed that way. If you move the mouse off of the window, it loses "focus" so you cant type in it afterwards. It also sounds like you might be selecting the positioning for the wrong texture since you can put on two sub channels. Just make sure you are editing the right one...

It doesn't work my mouse is always in that window, and pushing enter more times doesn't work either...
and how can I be sure I'm editing the right one then?

in the properties window, click on texture tab, there you see three selection boxes for the three layers.

1. Press "Create conus primitive"
2. Write something in "Height" box
3. Press Enter
If nothing happens to the size of the cube, reInstall.

You don't have to reinstall the game completely like you will lose your savegames etc. it works for me If I just choose The Repair.

I don't have any savegames left of last time reinstal so it doesn't matter..
Fiendan; that is not the problem but when I want to change a texture. On a polygon already placed it goes wrong..

Are you sure youīre selecting the right layer of the texture?
You see 3 options above the boxes: Texture 1, 2 and 3. If 2 or 3 is selected, thatīs your problem, if 1 is selected, I give up.

Yes he is.
Do you see the black dot on Texture 1 property?

I can never change offset...it just doesn't work, but I will reinstal now and see if it works then...

This is not a install failure, thatīs 99.9% likely.
Are you sure you know what youīre doing?
For example, you wonīt see any changes of the texture rotation until you apply the same number to both boxes. Something terrible will happen if a different number is in each one.

OMG I've been so stupid :stressed: you let me realize the texture is 1 by 1 metre so when I change offset with one there would nothinh happen..
thx... (and sorry for wasting you time)
