Help me become a normal forum member

I know I'll regret posting this, but it's all for the best in the end. I've been reading through some of the threads on Violence and realized that I'm one of those persons who annoys the hell out of a lot of people.

I know I made a lot of stupid posts, but it's now that I've realized how stupid they really were.Yes, it took me a long time to realize it, but better late than never, I guess. However, the stupidity that accumulated over the last 4 high school years won't go away in a day (stupid high school friends).

This is why I need you. I'd appreciate it if, whenever I make a stupid post, you warned me. Hopefully, they'll slowly fade away. Of course, we all have our days...

Now go ahead and criticize me as much and as harsh as you want. Release the little sadist and take it off your chest. It's better that you're honest with me. I'll be able to take it, I've heard a lot worse things about me and survived.

P.S. I know I have a stupid forum name. I couldn't think of anything better. If you have a better/more suitable name, share it with me.

To be honest, (and I am not just trying to be nice), I really don't have a clue what you are talking about.
I definitely don't see all posts that are made, but I have never seen any from you that warrants any kind of action.
Who doesn't make some silly posts once in a while. We are here to have fun.
Just don't spam the boards, if you have in the past, I don't know.
Anyhow, I never seen anything you wrote that was offensive and bothered me in the least.

Yes, but my forum name is stupid, there's a difference.;) Besides, I've been thinking of changing it, but don't know what it should be. Nobody jumped on my case (at least not to my knowledge), I just tend to be stupid sometimes and I want to minimize it.:) Believe me, after four years of going home from school with two people who make "Airplane" kind of gags everyday, you fall on their level. Mind you, "Airplane" is a good movie, but too much is just too much.

Gimli, like I said before, and others too, there is nothing wrong with your name.
However, if you decide to change it, keep it short and sweet, like the one you have now. I hate it when members change their easy names to 26 letter, have to copy-and-paste type names. ( You know like from Haxor to Archaeopteryx, for instance, hint-hint ;) ).
Some of us dim-witted slow farts would rather have a name that is easy to remember to type out, than have to look up the name tocopy and paste it to get it right. :D

I don't mean any offense to any partied involved, but you fit right in with disconnctor, fiendan and those types. I'm not going to come right out and call them 'spam' posts, but you do make a lot of fast, short-worded replies. ;) Which is fine, but it has it's place. Personally, I like to avoid threads like that, and reply more in ones that have actual discussion about a topic, per se. Basically, carry on, it's who you are.

Well I'm glad that's settled, I feel better now.

In the meantime, ZEN has put this in "the HoF suggestions thread", but the logic behind it escapes me. So OK, whatever...o_O maybe it's a good warning to people how not to behave.

1) Don't use leet speak, unless it's a joke at the expense of someone (VIS threads, anyone?)

But nothing beats a game of soccer. At least in Croatia. If you don't believe me, come here and you will experience the best atmosphere ever. Words cannot properly describe it, but I'll try. Imagine 40 000 people standing in the cold and they feel warm. In fact most of them are dripping with sweat. it's non-stop supporting and yelling like idiots, the whole stadium lives and dies with the team. But when there's a goal, it turns into a total mayhem. The whole stadium goes wild, people are jumping on each others' heads.
And then torches are lit. Now that is a sight to behold. It's full of smoke so you cannot breathe, let alone see anything. And there is a big feeling of being one.
You just have to see it to believe it.

Hey, tell you what. If in a few years, I'll have a decent job I'll come with you to see a hockey game. And then, if you want you can come and see a real soccer game.

But it tends to get rough sometimes. The stands(?) can be a dangerous place. People start fighting there, and then the SWAT team comes in. Then you run. Even if you didn't do anything, you run. When they start beating people, they don't care who they beat. People then tend to scatter. Luckily it rarely happens.

@Sarge: Hehehe.:D I remember 2 years ago, my friend and I were on a less important match. There were a few people smoking pot... One of the supporters didn't like it... They had to leave...
