My team wants to create a type of character that DOESN'T MOVE. What we want to do is create buildings. Yes buildings. The player characters will be scaled up into giant beings, and we wanted them to be able to crash through rows of buildings, like Godzilla. The easiest thing we can think of is use SS's use of many, many enemies by using building enemy types and put quick destroyable 'buildings' the characters can go through.

Is this the easiest way, or does Sam have terrain that can handle an 200 foot tall monster crashing through rows of builldings?

Um, to answer your last question, I'd recommend that you play through to the end of the game.

Htown, how did they do that?   I mean that was a scripted sequence, I think Planerunner wanted to know how to make the players be able to do that in-game.

I actually don't know, lol.
I thought his question was regarding whether the engine can handle it.  As to whether or not you could do that tpe of terrain with the editor, croteam has said that you can do anything that you see in the game with the editor.  I wouldn't be able to tell you HOW, though.

heh maybe Croteam should write a tutorial on that. :)

This thing is already possible, using the DestroyableArchitecture. Perhaps you should go and ask at the mapping forum about that.
