StraCraft Total Conversion mod search many people for work on the mod. Modeler (5-6), mapper (12-17), coder(8-12), webmaster (1-3), .... and he can talk french or english (yes, the mod is very too big for all poeple they work now)
if you work on other mod (ex: Serious Fortress or HiT-SQUAD) you can join StaCraft, becose the mod is too big and you can find many kind on game (tfc, commando, ..) and many coding is the same.

In the case that this will be a RTS mod...
I don't mean to jinx you, but all RTS mods I have seen for FPS games have failed. Horribly. With the apparent requirements for your mod, it looks like your goals are high. I'm not saying that it's not possible, just that it is REALLY hard to get an RTS right in a game like Serious Sam. I think your going to need really smart programmers, like guys who have been programming for at least 3 years. Good luck, though! It would be interesting to see Zerg hordes in SS.

If you don't want any trouble from Blizzard change the mods name to keep Star Craft out of it because the UT mod had to change there name a few days ago to Unreal Craft

I agree with Protoz,.. to avoid having Blizzard crawling up your as, change the MOD name. The Half-Life Starcraft MOD was shut down because of Blizzard.

Anyone here remember 'Gloom' for quake 2? It was wonderful.. Aliens meets starcraft. I always played as an arachnid hatchling (I just didn't like the bigger classes). I'd 'web' up to a dark ceiling corner, and wait for the marines to charge in.. Then DROP DOWN ON THEM AND BITE THEIR HEADS OFF!! MWHHAAHAHAAA! =)

They shouldn't need to change the races, Unreal Craft hasn't had to, yet....and Zirg just dosen't make you think of grotesque insect's
