If when finished a total conversion, and you have the oppurtunity to publish it. Is it possible to do so
through some arrangement? I read the EULA in the SDK
where it says the SDK is only intended for Non Commercial Serious Sam Modifications? What are the licensing requirements?

Thanks

The way it went with Counterstrike and Gunman for Half-Life was basically this:
If you make a mod, and it is really, really, really, good, and Croteam and GoDGames thinks they can make some money off of it, they will probably take in the mod as a funded production.  However, Valve only did this with 2 mods, so its gotta be really good.

Here's the plain language version, from the help file's MOD legal info section:

In English:
Croteam supports and allows noncommercial distribution of modifications made to Serious Sam.
You can create your own levels, new game types, player models and similar and distribute them for free
You must not change original Serious Sam executables
If you want to use your modification for commercial purposes, you are obligated to contact Gathering of Developers on address listed above
If you want to license Serious Engine for your own project, contact Croteam at licensing@croteam.com.
