because i suck at it
i need it to be mainly flat, curving up on all sides, some thin, but deep holes maybe some stalagtites, and a big cliff in the middle :joy: :joy:

i think, you must use a 3d software... i think best way is using a 3d software...

I've told you how to make heightmaps. Why not just use the method I told you with Terragen? It's not that hard

You can also do terrain with Vertex Mode( select polygons and press V I think). But it will occupy some time.

You can import a geometry made in W3D into SED as a brush.
Actually using modelling software for building natural areas is much better than using terrains because it usually saves a lot of polycount and looks better.

All that you see is a normal WorldBase (except the trees of course).

I agree with you 100% on this (wow, never belivied that would happen :P). If you put enough effort, making terrain in 3d soft. can be much more rewarding sometimes.
