Nobody knows what is the meaning of the Ladder. It was found one day, just sitting there, not doing anything out of the ordinary. Over time, tourists started to arrive, climbing the stairway (which was nicknamed "Ladder of Jacob") and touching the sky. Over some more time, a funicular was built and gift shops started to pop all over the place.
Luckily for all of us, Mental's arrival to Earth stopped all of the menace around the Ladder. Now, after Sam's victory and the change of the timeline, the Ladder was converted into a nice arena. A big platform was flown into the air using Jetpack technology, and bumpers were installed between the other platforms- including one launching to the Ladder.

Need some info on how to put it into the game. Can't get it to work.

I tried to load the map, but no luck. The Editor crashed when I tried, and the Game locked up my system, requiring a reboot. When my computer came back up, I was able to retrieve the serioussam.log and it said:

Just thought you should know.
I don't have time to test it now, but that spiral staircase might be a polygon hog (or whatever the correct term might be) and cause some severe slowdown. Just a feeling... :)

Here goes my career in .gro building :) I forgot some of the textures. I've uploaded the file again, this time with the complete list (I hope)! Regarding installation, check out the readme.txt file.

I tested your map on a 4 player fragmatch and all I can say is---- Keep up the excelent work. I look forward to more from you. Thanks!

Map worked the second time OK - thanks.
I liked that you remembered to flag all the stair polys as stairs (man, I hate it when people forget), but the stairs are narrow and easy to fall off. That is ok (may be the effect you wanted) but it is also easy to fall off the top (again, if that is the effect you want - that's ok).
My only other concern about the map is that I spawned several times on the pillar with the rocket launcher on it and had trouble getting to the rest of the map. I found that if you jump off in the right spot, you teleport to the base of the stairs, but I kept forgetting where to jump. Would you consider adding a clue, or making a teleport spot on the platform with a particle hanging there or something??
All in all, it was a nice map. I didn't have any areas where it slowed down, seemed to keep a steady 60fps on my machine (which is pretty good). I hope I can find someone to run a server with it to try it with several people.

Regarding the teleporter- it's supposed to surround the entire pillar, but getting off it is still quite hard... I can't seem to find a way to enlarge it without ruining the fun of falling off the other platforms.
The Ladder is supposed to be dangerous... Finding a way to get off without dying is quite hard :)
Do you think I should add map tips & tricks to the readme?
