Pimp dat mecha!

Well it's not really a screenie or a model, but we at Cranked Arrow Zavtra Mod couldn't resist pimpin' 3DActionPlanet itself. Due to the fact our mod is hosted on the gaming behemoth that is 3DAP, when someone does a search on 'meltrandi', one of the Macross mecha we're doing a version of for our mod, who comes up first Yahoo's search results?

That's right.

If you wanna know a good reason why to get your mod hosted here well then here ya go. No, we didn't file ourselves with the search engines, no we didn't set our meta tags . . .it's just because 3DAP is that funky! Course the kinda funk comin' outta File Planet could double for green slime, so take that with a grain of slime, er salt.

I like mecha oh so much (especially the eva-01 in your icon :)) but I dont think that the vixen model on your site looks very much like the picture, especially around the shoulders, knees, and feet. Is this a side effect of the work that the engineer guy did or something?

Very much so, Cince, it's a custom version for our mod. I should note, the 4 mecha pictured are only for the alpha version, which will be deathmatch only. More of a testing phase really. The beta will feature single player and several unique multiplayer game types. We'll keep ya posted.

Man, that Vixen is tight.  So just curious, I saw that Maurader model in one our your web buttons.  Is it going to make an apperance in the final version?  And how about those Evas?  They might now quite fit in the with the rest, but dang are they cool!!!

You know, after playing Sam hardcore (you know, on Serious level, with a knife and colts) I realized an EVA would fit perfectly with a single player game, or a co-op multiplayer. Right now our mod team is focusing on just getting stuff into the game and getting coding done so stuff actually WORKS, then we'll concentrate on little details like singleplayer and such.

And oh yes, we hope to have some neat toys like a Glaug/Marauder in-game.
