Here´s what I have so far, this will problebly be a robotic demon monster for the fireman level.
Still needs a head

Schweet, but the pelvis area is a little plane.. Some armor there perhaps?

Armor, no prob, and when the skin is over he will be all skretched and will have wires sticking out ;)

Looks better.... you might want to take a look at the ankles, they might be a problem during animation... but it certainly is much improved.

as for armour, maybe a utility belt with some srt of attatchment to the knee. a-la tomb raider, but more masculine.
or you could go the opposite way and make it ultra sleek, seeing as it's a robo
i can tell; that the megaman mods are going to be using meshsmooth ALOT

I'm a big anime buff, and the waist seems a bit too stocky too me... maybe its all the Evangelion I've been watching recently :)

If he is a boss, and you will only see one of him at a time (á la Ugh-Zan), you can go as far as 1500 (don't quote me on this)...

Old Ughzy (pet name) had ~3000 polygons before i redid him (reflective floor planed in Pyramid.....). If there wont be much enemies on screen you can go pretty high wiht polycount.

interesting.... how many polygons after you redid him, because there are alot of enemies in the same area as ugh zan on great pryrimid lev.

I just gonna add alot to the head and then put some xtra stuff on his body, but I think he´s coming out quite nicely for my first ever low poly attempt ;)
