1.05 patch

Hi guys. Has anyone been using the 105 patch regularly since it came out?

I do not want to patch unless it is stable.

Don't want to start the next project till I know which
version to use. I am chomping at the bit! ;)

I'm sure it's stable enough.. I believe it IS tested before hand..

but you can't predict everything..

windows xp and voodoo 3's dont agree with the new editors. works ingame tho but directx support is minimal.

I'd like to strike a deal with Nvidia. I take everyones voodoo3 and sell them (at a discounted rate) the Geforce 2 or 3 card. Then return the voodoo cards to Nvidia to sell at auction. I wonder if they'd go for that.

They could make a bundle. But they'd have a bunch of useless voodoo 3 cards. I have 2 at the moment.

I think one of the nVidia card manufacturers is actually doing a trade-in for credit torward one of their cards, allowing you to get rid of your voodoo based cards.

Might want to check it out doing a search or something. :)

Yeah, I've had it since Tuesday, and I haven't come across problems yet. I'm pretty sure it will work if you have a steady machine.

Yeah, I've been using 1.05 since it came out, and I'm not having any more problems with it than usual... ;) As for nVidia's trade-in thing, it's just good for laughs, not much else! Firstly, the most $$ you can get from them is $30, and only if you buy the biggest, baddest, (probably $100's) card they sell. Secondly, you have to buy the new card at the store, then mail nVidia your old card and the reciept, etc. and wait ferever to get your $$ in the mail... :grr: Anyway, 1.05 patch is good.

BTW, I like the color thing, can you tell? :biglaugh:

1.05 is evil none of the old maps even the croteam ones dont work right there all glitchy and stuff

All the old maps by Croteam work Perfectly on my comp and I have v1.05.
