The problem is pretty strange but it comes up consistently:
I have a large outdoor area with an equally large block of water. They are both large enough to have been split into several sectors. The above-ground area has a haze effect to complement the night-time fog. The underwater also uses haze(I think it works better than fog). The problem is, in the editor it will only use one kind of haze in the default numpad-6 mode. The result is that when I try to view the level it looks screwed up. Swapping the haze markers seems to temporarily correct(or maybe just switch around) the haze problem, but it reappears when I start adding stuff again. I can deal with it for right now, though, since it doesn't affect in-game play.
The attachment should show what this looks like.
