hi there
i was going to play a game with 2 friends when this guy  shows up and wont leav after we ask him 1000 times.
i tried to klick him but i douildn't get the syntax right

if anyone knows how, please let me know.
in fact, a guide to the console would be great (assumoing there isn't already one, cause if there is i look stupid)

I have actually never used the kick() command, but I would assume it would go something like /kick("AnOyInG gUy") or /kick("201.54.78.146").

As for a console guide, there is an outdated one to be found on Grand Master Shinobi's site, but take everything with a grain of salt (and almost nothing about network variables holds true anymore, there was major revision done there between then and now). The part that will interest you is the beginning. URL is:
http://www.geocities.com/swiftlytiltingplanetmods/ConsoleVariables.txt

Hope that helps some

Hi ya Intruder, I've never personally thanked you but if it wasn't for your SoFradiant tutorial zip thing I don't think I would have ever got a map done for Sof.....I not got Serious Sam yet on account of it not being out down here in New Zealand yet but I am really looking forward to trying the editor out...(after many game sessions tho..lol)
 and thanks

How to kick people:
1) Use 'NetworkInfo()' to find the client numbers (you only kick by numbers, kicking by names could be difficult with some weirdo ascii arts, etc)
2) Do 'Kick(<clientno>, "explanation").
Example:
Kick(2, "and stay there")

Does this help?

I can get output from /networkinfo() on the client side console, but is there a remote administration option (webbased or other)?
If not how do we administer a dedicated server from the client console? adminlogon, etc...

thanks,
j

Alen! How do you enter commands in the dedicated window and is there a rcon or remote admin command?
