When I start the game I get an error message similar to 'EAX Error - Cannot Set Environment' and my sound doesn't work. If I got to the sound options and set the driver to WaveOut and click Apply then it works but on restarting the game I get the original error and the WaveOut option has not been saved.
Turn off the auto-adjust option in the audio setup page. There is currently a big that means this setting will not get saved but a fix will be available in the next patch.
