Where are the skybox from?

I didnt find it in the older posts, so i open a new one. Im cheated (im just tried it ) in Luxor. Ive found a text on the left side of the skybox, but its only the half of the text.




Its "Copyright www.??t??tur??.com", i cant read the other letters. Anybody else?

I'd assume it's "www.??textures.com", but not sure what to make of the ?? part.

Edit: A quick google would suggest www.cgtextures.com

They did use those skyboxes legally.

In Karnak you can see an industrialized smoke stack in the skybox without using cheats or rocket jumping. Go to third-person and look to the right in the ankh pool (may have to aim slightly down).

I don't think it's just Karnak where you can see buildings and stuff on the background, but that and Luxor were the first levels where I noticed it. Gotta rocketjump around some more.

There are many levels that have them, but Karnak is the only one I've been able to tell without rocket jumps or cheats.
I would look at Luxor again, but my computer....

Not really, because all you need for a dynamic skybox is an empty sky. Even cgtex has some fairly empty ones.

You can still have some very distant clouds, it's not bad if you don't see those moving.
