Apparently, the Zorg Commnader's gun can also fire rockets. Pretty impressive.

Well it does say "Rocket Launcher Mark 2" on the side there, or something similar.

Nice find though. This is one of those things I'd find impossible to ever discover.

but for now the rocketeers are much more BADASS! They hold the magic-missile-rocket-launcher in only one single hand not like Zorgs, who have to hold it with 2 bare hands. boom.

I still hope to see the Zorgs in Sam 3. I think they should have been in palce of those humanoid looking aliens. At least the Zorgs look like actual aliens.

As I remember it was said by Croteam a couple of months ago that the rocketeers at SS1 were aliens - as when the past mental detected Sam going back in time, he/she/it sent the executed syrian soldiers to earth. But at SS3, the present mental made use of the "local resources" - thus the recketeers are actually human. LCU-controlled zombie humans, yet still counts as earth natives, I suppose.
Edit: and the cloned soldiers, I assume are cloned human soldiers, though I could be horribly wrong here.
P.S. I also remember that is was stated that mental loves "dirty jokes/whatever You would call it" and likes to make the species kill (and be killed) by their own soldiers that were fighting along their own ranks against mental just a little while ago. Explains a lot, including the alien/nonalien stuff.

He-he I know. I thought you meant you question the origin of the Zorgs. And Zorgs are really aliens. But beheaded guys look totally not like aliens, but -as you have just written- recycled/resourced humans. I see . This looks like a funny misapprehension.

I still hope to see at least ONE other beheaded besides the kamikaze and rocketeer. I kind of noticed they took out the Firecracker, but oh well. Beheaded bomber is still a candidate, right?

Of course I vote as a megalomaniac would: WANT ALL OF THEM!

BTW I'm right now working on a sketch for my brandly new enemy, Jet-Pack Zorgs (with black jetpacks and a nice, badass water-drop formed shiny helmet, with glowing red/blue eyes).
Hope i'll have enough coding knowledge to do this, i swear i won't give up!

If possible, I recommend taking the base Ai of the Flying Orx Soldiers from SS2, modifying it for hd and there you go. But it is not that simple, I know. May not even be possible.

It is completely possible. Not taking their behavior file, but copying it perfectly. You just open the behavior file in SEd2 and then open SEd3 and copy over everything one by one, recreating it.

The problem is that you can't change their models or animations, only if you make a completely new Animations file for them, starting from scratch. But then again, it may be possible to do it with their current animations but it won't look that natural, seeing Zorgs running in the air.
