It's a shame that I cannot have both at a time...
Like Talos has this moddable version, 64bit version, and I can choose between them anytime without downloading additional stuff, changing anything and stuff...

Oh, btw. about the modifications being available only for retail version...
I tried to make the Classic Serious Sam work on Steam version, and despite some bugs (mostly in the menus), the mod with some magic was working fine, even loaded the custom DLL and stuff.

Maybe it wouldn't be that hard to port it to the Steam version, I might try as soon as it's released.

I have already tested it. Doesn't work on the updated version. But we're looking into making it an official mod for the game.

That's a funny thing, because you can actually port old mods to the new version of SS2, but they will or won't work in two ways:

When using custom DLL: game runs normally, but can bug up/crash at most random moments (Classic Serious Sam 2 did in graphics menu, screen simply became black), sometimes game tries to look for old stuff, even when having ReplaceHistory file for the mod, but at least YOU CAN ACTUALLY PLAY A LEVEL and pray it won't crash.

When NOT using custom DLL: game runs smooth, new menus and stuff, but trying to load a level gives a console print that all mod's files are too old to load by the game and you always get "Unable to load level" message, even when trying to load CT levels (cause still mod).

You can now run any number of servers without bug "error selection telenet socket".
The Engine.dll library will be patched directly in memory before start a service telnet.

Yes.

The port is set for both the server and rcon in the command line (+port or +Port)

Strange characters due to localization. So displays the Cyrillic (in the standard server too)
If you remove the *.GRO with localization - that is everywhere the English text, and will not have strange characters.
