Default Cases and powersupplies, Oil and water

Why the HELL do cases never ever ****ing fit new power supplies?!
2mm screw offset! Is it like some sick joke or something? WTF!

I don't need a new godamned case every time I assemble a new machine, the one I got works fine with everything else so what the ****?!

Am I somehow missing the invisible imaginary adapter plate?

I find myself only recommending one case maker to people when they ask anymore. Antec There cases usually have no sharp edges, easy to remove drive enclosures and fan trays. Most have well designed access doors and plenty of design features to make for a very nice case.

A close second and third go to CoolerMaster and Apevia. Both have very nice features. Cooler Master is known for their quiet, very sturdy designs where as Apevia makes very stylish cases for a lower price. Features often have lighting, side windows or gauges in their design.

I've been looking for a completly featureless fascade micro atx that's black. Solid on both sides and front.
Can't find none. (looks like I'll have to make my own)

That's a common problem. Haven't had a single PSU/case combo that didn't suffer from it. The holes on the case and the PSU never fit perfectly despite being designed with the same specs - which is only a testinomy to the built quality of cases (and rear plates on PSUs i guess).
