I don't get it, wouldn't enemies and NPCs have different animations?

Those files only contain character behaviour, pointer to model ressource and anims etc, not the actual models themselves.

I didn't know that part of the level had Simbas. I'll have to try it.

Edit: I get it now. Cool!

So where in the .ep file is the setting for friend/foe???

I think that in code some .ep files are enemies and some are friends, help Fragman

I read in interview that we can make custom friend like simbas. So enemies will be no problem to make

Is it possible without coding to make that simbas shots from shotgun?

Make a simba model holding a shotgun then (with all shotgun ani inculded.).

EDIT: Just one question, will it still work for server and can the client connect without changing it?

Not really.. what you have here are regular NPC's who use different behaviour. So the alignment (Evil or Good) is set in the .cb file.
