Its basic IK (inverse kinematics) setup for most of bipeds used in the game. It also contains biped skeleton for modders to use as reference when building their own characters/enemies. To use existing animations skeleton needs to match naming and orientations from this skeleton.

Could you please post an example scene for SS1 SKA export from LW? I can't get weightmaps to export correctly no matter what I do.

yes but I don't understand every thing in SED2 How I can add new weapons and change the player character.

Those are two things you can't do in SEd2

You can, however, make new player characters which you'll be able to select in the Multiplayer character menu.

argh and I suppose it's not possible to mesch of a .mdl file?
is it possible to export a mdl file in raw file or lwo?

In SEd2 in the Mesh Editor, you can export it to RAW, on the Common tab IIRC.

I know, but that's possible if have just the mdl files?how do you edit the serious mdl files in the mesh editor?
I have found for the character player in SED2

Ah, no you can't export the models included with SS2, as they're finalized (that means their edit data has been removed from the file to cut down on filesize). The only way to edit them is by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C in the model editor, but that's mostly for the advanced user.

There are also tools for ripping 3d data from games in realtime, maybe you can have success with that (won't get you the anims though I think).

You can replace the Single Player Model, but that will only work for you through your files. I am not sure, but I think it was in the
Content/SeriousSam2/Databases/EntityParams/PlayerPuppet.ep
press the + at Body and choose the Model you like. But it needs to be setup with bones and animations first.
Got to get back on this when I've remodeled this thingamajing.

Ohh, and when saving, the thing is backed up inside the Gro, when done playing it should be simply to remove the folder file and it's back to normal.
