Like you said, they should additionally have a draw out animation as well, for example the Doom 3's shotgun, although the chainsaw in second encounter already had a draw out sound. In my mod I added a draw out sound and animation for a few of the weapons so far, but draw out sounds and animations would be great...

Not really, just a mod that I have been working on in a while.. But the chainsaw does have a put away sound and a draw sound. I'm not sure about other weapons. But that I think was just a suggestion for SS4...

Thinking about the the Auto Shotgun now. The Devastator is a modified AS with explosive rounds instead of shotgun shells. If there were an Auto Shotgun in Serious Sam 4, I bet it could be an unaltered version of the Devastator, or, if possible, an AA12.

Yeah I remember it taking a long while to get to that first secret behind you as well. I remember a semi-long walk on the dunes as well to one of the secrets too. A little bit impatient I am with those kind of secrets.

After playing Duke Forever, I think that Croteam should consider how those boss fights were done. Sam is king when it comes to massive bosses in enormous landscapes but the fights aren't too interesting, especially in Sam 3. The final boss fight was great but everything before that was kind of mediocre.

The final boss for the Duke Forever DLC was excellent. Multiple phases, vehicular combat, different objectives, tiny environment but the boss was still nice and big. That's how it should be done. Giving you a shotgun and putting you up against an Arachnoid is kind of lame, especially when it becomes a regular enemy later in the game.

It appears that SS4's soundtrack is going to feature some significant guitar work.

Please no.
QTE's, no matter how fast (and Doom did them VERY fast), still takes away from the SS 'feel'.
Unless they are doing a redo of SS, it would take away from the classic gameplay.
And, btw, I STILL havent finished Doom. What does that tell you?
