Default Serious Sam Overall Fun Facts

As said before, this may contain spoils, so read at your own risk..., and this is for ALL Sam games that has fun facts in, so, if you feel like sharing something, tell here, probably some of them are already known.

Let's Start!

Did you know that...

Serious Sam HD Khnum is one of the strongest bosses in the whole series?

The boss whose F.C. reward is the lowest is the HD TSE Khnum? (It gives only 500 F.C.)

HD TFE is suggested that it was converted with a HD converter, since there are some secrets and a hole in Hatshepsut?

HD TSE had some more secrets than the Classic version?

That XBOX version used 36 levels instead of 27 because not enough memory?

Mental Institution, final boss of Serious Sam 2, has a whopping 1,000,000 health? making him the strongest boss in all Sam series

in Serious Sam Advance, the serious bomb was replaced by a yellow machine?

In Serious Sam Advance, the map is the same in TFE, only with some add-ons?

Hoodlum's Backyard, BrKeen Chevap and Sun Palace were originally in XBOX version, and then ported to HD TFE and TSE?

There an unused +200 Armor item in Serious Sam 3?

Simply One, DM Map in HD TFE, is basically Fort Wars/Royal Purgatory from HD TSE, only Egypt themed?

That in SS1 Alpha, Moon Mountains islands were supposed to have water instead of being an abyss?

SS: TSE Classic is the only game with an Invisibility Item in all series?

Serious Sam: Next Encounter's Sirian Power gun, fires invisible bullets too?

Lava Golems were originally named Lava Elementals in SS1 Alpha, and they were supposed to have legs instead of being a movable pile of lava?

Serious Sam 3 Sam is the only Sam model that uses glasses apart from the tank-top Sam in TFE?

In Serious Sam 3 scene where Ugh-Zan Rises, is the same area where you pick up the jetpack? a.k.a. there's a duplicate of this area, one is suggested that is used to the cutscene, while the other one is the final boss area

Serious Sam 3: BFE is the only Sam game where you can use a jetpack?

Lol, strongest boss, lowest reward.

Anyways, here's some that are probably known:
- An Ugh-Zan (I think Ughzy III) was supposed to appear in the Mental Institution (which is why you can hear his roaring there sometimes).
- Kamikazes' scream dates back to 1997.
- The Sirian Darklord from TNE is operated by Sam's evil clone.

Btw, shouldn't there be a generic Serious Sam discussion forum for threads like this?

Serious Sam 2 would like a word with you. It's Deathmatch exclusive.

Did you know that...

There are 2 copies of Ugh Zan 3 that can be found in TSE, but were supposed to be seen in Serious Sam 2 (later cut off)

Normal, HD is not suposed to be exacly the same as SSC with better graphics.

BrKeen Chevap is in SS2 too.

Everyone knows, that's why Solais' resource exists.

Not hard to know only if you are blind.

XBOX version was first (Ends of 2002, while SS2 was released on October 2005)

If you check the date of the armor, it says it was made on Novermber 19, 3 days before release, impossible that Solais made it first, it's there but unused

The +200 Armor is not by me, it is originally in the game and was supposed to appear on the final level but was later removed. It can still be placed on custom maps. What my resource adds in a +200 Health, which is there to be a counterpart to the original +200 Armor.

Also both TFE and TSE HD was converted using the HD converter, which was originally said to be released to public, but that never happened.

Also there were two Ugh-zans to be appear in Mental Institution, as said earlier.

You should've posted a link to all the Serious Sam Beta/In the Flesh screenshots, they're all practically fun facts:

The following screenshots are my favorites of the selection:

Luxor/Karnak/Sacred Yards (?) early version

Early Demo Title Screen

The Towering Sky Institution

How could anyone not like this

The early selection of enemies to be submitted into the game

Sacred Yards Alpha version

The Karnak-styled walkway to Hatshepsut Temple

If TFE and TSE were both a single game...

A couple of Egyptian temple shots, and a "spacey" walkway

Believe me, I'd post a million more, but these are just a few of my favorites.

Oh, I almost forgot...

It has 100000 HP. Ugh-Zan 3 only has 40000. I think he means that.

The only "Did you know" about them I can think of is that they were probably named "Federation forces" in SS1, or at least that's what the Cannon's description calls them.

The other is that the army in the Duke Nukem games are also called as Earth Defense Force, or EDF.

Found another easter egg, in Serious Sam: TFE, as a secret papyrus in Karnak's pool says, it relates about Serious Sam EP. 15, and AFAIK, since this point, Serious Sam has 14 titles, so maybe the so called SS2:HD or SS4 can be this 15th episode o.o

Maybe you can add the broken secret in Valley of the Jaguar as a fun fact. The invulnerability on top of the exit to the valley is supposed to be a secret serious damage but was left unfinished.

I guess he means the services for Classic never went down. Which isn't a fun fact, just a statement of fact. XD
