Default porting to 1.07

Sorry but I posted my question in the wrong topic... anyway...

Is it difficult to port my mod from 1.05 SE to 1.07 SE?
How do I use this "perl-script"?
And where can I find it?
And how do I use it?

Hope someone can help me...

Sigi

I have never managed to use the perl script so porting from 1.05 FE to 1.07 SE took a pretty long time. But it depends a lot on how many things you've changed.

I just used a program ( there are a lot of them ) to compare which files were changed, and then copy & pasted all changes to the new SDK.

You compare the original SDK and make the changes... ok I'll see how it works!
Thx for your hint.

Took me about 30minutes.

I used Windows Commander. Unzipped the original SDK to one folder and the new SDK to another, and then compared all of the files; done all of the changes to the code manually, then copied the files from the v1.07 installer to my mod dir, updated Engine.lib, and it worked like a charm (on first compile).

It took me about 1 hour but then it compiled fine. However I have a problem with the _debug_ version of the new skd. I can't open any map in _debug_ seriouseditor , even a new empty map, without crashing. The error is: Debug Assertion Failed, in ...SeriousEditor.exe, File: afxhtml.inl, Line 57
_AFXHTML_INLINE void CHtmlView::Refresh2(int nLevel)
{ ASSERT(m_pBrowserApp != NULL); m_pBrowserApp->Refresh2(COleVariant((long) nLevel, VT_I4)); }

To assure that my own code is not the problem, I took the original debug binaries from the sdk but the problem remains. Then I copied the original debug bins to a new installation of SeSam2_107 but I got the same error!

Please help!

Sigi
