Default Need help porting Test 1 model

I tried to port Test 1's Sam model to Revolution. What I got is this:
http://i.imgur.com/gOCWMFQ.png

Also it uses the wrong animation for quite a lot of things. The weapons he holds is all over the place too.

It seems to be some problems or incompatibility or whatever with attachments and animations. Anyone know how to fix this?

Open the model in Serious Modeler and find the attachments in the properties dialog (press Q), then just change their offsets, easy peasy.

Offsets? What? Also, what about the animations?

That wouldn't work Angelo, the attachments have to be reattached to their proper place.

I'm not familiar with that old model, is changing the attachment offsets not enough?

From what I studied around when fixing the Ghostbuster rotation and making the Cannon Walker, you should never really use offsets with attachments on animated models, as the animations of the attachment will screw up.

Fair enough, that means you have to change the origin point of the models that are on initial wrong offsets, then fix those offsets later.. or something. I have no idea, I haven't eaten since yesterday afternoon, my brain doesn't work yet

In SeriousModeler, you can press 1, 2 and 3 buttons (not on numeric keypad, only the ones on the main keyboard) to "glue" an attachment to certain model vertices.
Also, SeriousAlexej ported that old model ages ago, even before Kazuya could talk.

Yes, you have to use the number keys for that. It's best in wireframe mode, when you can usually see the attachment polygons the best. But if you would have read the Help file, you should know that, and I did tell you about the help files.

I can't see the attachment polygons because of all these ****ing boxes and arrows.

The things in the Help file are way too advanced for me. I can somewhat grasp what that dude is saying, but the things he shows is nothing like the one I'm facing.

I suppose he meant that Alex ported this model for the Origins.
