![]() Think of it, fighting giant hordes of kamikazes, gnaars, biomech and others...in 3d!
Nintendo's new handheld must have a sam game in it! maybe with 8 players wireless multiplayer and wi-fi connection multiplayer! Being able to aim with the analog stick and the gyroscope of the console!Maybe streetpass compatibility that can make you share your stats with other serious gamers and unlock skins and other stuff what do you think? |

They would need to make a sequel to Next Encounter. I really liked that game! If they made a sequel to the Serious Sam PS2, Gamecube. Except with Single Shotgun and tons of weapons and enemies. First person. In 3D. That would kick ass. ![]() Unfortunately, I don't have a 3DS.... :'( |

![]() Serious Sam would have to be very dumbed down to work as a handheld game (SS:Advance - anyone?).
For it to keep the high enemy count we'd need Quake 1 quality models or even sprites otherwise we'd get the non-stop teleporting that Advance it that was just tedious, kill 5 enemies, spawn, kill 5, spawn, kill 5 spawn ect ect Then comes the aiming. It'd honestly need to have that new second joystick expansion that's getting released. |

![]() Well maybe a handheld-based Serious Sam game doesn't need to be FPS? I always thought it would be great to have an Alien Syndrome kind of game about Sam on a PSP. The quality of models is not very important there because it's played from a top-down perspective, and I remember AS having lots of enemies on screen at once.

![]() Well, 3ds can handle a bigger amount of enemies than the ds, just make the particles low res and you'll not have to worry about fps problems.It's even more possible since there is going to be another stick that you'll be able to attach to the 3ds, so it can play like on the xbox.
Since we are at it, another cool feature would be having the mutilator in the game, and being able to move the ray with the touch screen, and kill enemies by "drawing" circles on them |

![]() They could make a top down shooter that controls like the binding of isaac (One pad to move, buttons directions to shoot, L or R to switch weapon) but providing the horde-killing-with-minigun gameplay of serious sam. Just an idea

L Thumbstick to move, stylus to aim. L-Trigger to shoot. D-Pad to switch between gun stacker set ups. For the people that are right handed, flip it. Like most 3DS games do.

Who said you need to jump in a Serious Sam game? At least IMO, one of the defining components of a Serious Sam game is strafing and dodging projectiles. Which is a gameplay mechanic that would lend itself very well to a top down shooter. I would be interested in playing that game.
