Default How well would this game run with no bodies disappearing?

I was wondering that now that it's a 16-year old game, it should run adequately with disappearing bodies and gibs turned off somehow. Question is, how to turn them off?

The amount of bodies itself should not have a major impact on performance these days. Problem is that they have collision. So all bullets will stop on them and explosives will go off. Imagine not being able to kill single kleer just because there is dead biomechanoid in front of it

Oh...forgot that. If there was a way to make bodies to be visual only.

This sounds like beginner-level easy to mod in, I think it would even be in the SDK, not the engine source. But apart from the impact on performance and collision, imagine fights like the last area of Courtyards of Gilgamesh: You have big enemies everywhere, and at some point you won't be able to see the small enemies through the big corpses anymore, and that would ruin the gameplay.
