Multiplayer:
All the modes from SSHD:TSE will be present in SS3. All modes can be played either online (up to 16 players) or in split-screen (up to 4 players).


Gamelength:
Singleplayer/Co-op campaign will contain 12 levels (these are said to be larger than those of the previous games).
The amount of maps for the different MP modes has not been revealed.

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Sprinting: SS3 will have sprinting (run faster, but can't use weapon)
• Reloading: The all new pistol and assault rifle will require reloading (possibly others)
• Sights: Several of the weapons will have sights to look down for increased accuracy
• Melee: SS3 will have melee weapons and special melee finishing moves
• Enemy vs Enemy: Enemies can hurt/kill each other
• 3rd Person View: There will be 3rd person perspective view

Modding:
SS3 will launch with the Serious Editor and a modifiable version of the game included. They should function in the same way as they did for SSHD. Sometime after release a standard source-code SDK will be available in the same way it was for the original TFE/TSE games.

Dedicated Servers:
SS3 will launch with a Windows dedicated server included. Sometime after release Linux and OSX versions will be available. They should function in the same way as they did for SSHD.

DRM:
Steam will be the only DRM used for SS3.
