Fixed Bugs
  • "No Servers showing up in the server browser"
  • Massive Framerate when receiving "Netricsa Mails". Crash when reading them.
  • One of the creatures is accidently making the idle chainsaw sound.
    Actually the beheaded guys are using a chainsaw as secondary attack, so this sound is not a bug

I've got flame fuel / sniper bullets on my HUD... Also, the key configuration mentions the sniper zoom.

Hi

Netricsa is big problem. When I restart Sam and Netricsa is smooth framerate and some more play...mail message for Netricsa is worst poor framerate and I press exit then crash to windows.

Now I have many times crash from Netricsa when press exit or read Netricsa for next new map.

My game freeze from time to time but very irregular. I then got to press STRG+ALT+DEL, but if i simply close the taskmanager (not any process or something) and switch back to the game, it will continue running if there was no problem before. Sometimes this happens after half an hour of playing, sometimes after two hours, sometimes it happens just once, sometimes two or three times in succession. I just played over three hours and this happens four times, but the game did not really crash at all, just this freezing thing. (But it crashed with the beta nvidia driver 195.55).

SS:HD Settings all to Ultra

Windows Vista Ultima x64
Geforce GTX 260 - Driver 191.07
AMD Phenom X4 9950 @2,8 GHZ
4 Gb Ram
MSI K9N2 Zilent with an nVIDIA nForce 750a SLI
Using Onboardsound: Realtek ALC888/1200
Running in Hybrid SLI-Mode with the onboard graphic (Performance Mode)

i can confim this, his head is pierced on his neck

There is an other translation fault in the german language version. If you entering the moon mountains. Nestrica says you have to be carefull because you are the only one who fount this. I think the "not" is missing there. (german: Wir sind NICHT die Einzigen hier.)

hi,
please help me.Ive just bought the game from steam and i cannot set the option on ultra because i barely can advance in the game.i barely can move because of the stuttering and i do have 1 gb video card,2 ghz quad proc and 6 gb ram.I can only play with 2-8 fps and the game is seen as if it's too good for my system?I can only play in medium settings and of course the game looks awful in that mode.Im dissapointed.I hope croteam releases a patch to fix the problem.btw my video driver is not the beta one and i have vista 64 bit.The game looks great btw but on ultra it looks like a crysis on my system.I cant progress because it plays as if my system is low.just help pls.and it stops sometimes...actually its with intrerruptions all the time.Its just unbelievable but true.i can barely move.

I have a marsh hopper stuck inside a wall and can't kill it on Moon Mountains:

Also, the blue biomech that appears at the top of the mountain seems to be protected by an invisible wall. If it does not walk forward, you can't kill it, but it can still shoot you.

Also, there is no force feedback effects for splash damage for your own weapons. You shoot a rocket too close or get hit by your own granade, you get nothing.

EDIT: force feedback fixed in latest update

I can confirm the marsh hopper bug, the battle music has always got stuck for me in that part (and that explains why). Also, it often falls through the level at that part (hence the warnings in console).

Some little bugs I experienced in coop:

1. A dead (?) gnaar standing around. Idle animation (with its mouth moving). Could be pushed when running into it. Probably a client-side thing as other players did not seem to see it.

2. When a player respawns the message "is riding the gun again" sometimes is printed multiple times (predictor ?).

3. "Unknown" is displayed instead of the real player name. IIRC once all player names except for my own were changed to "Unknown" mid game and it remained like that till I left.

Another one:
Most of the time when I load the autosave on Hatshepsut, it starts out sunny. Sam still whistles "Singing in the Rain" at the top of the ramp, though... And those rocketeers are still blown apart by an invisible, silent bolt of lightning .

OS: Windows Vista
Sound: Creative Audigy 2 ZS (5.1)

level: begin of game
problem: when Sam show up and fall on the ground, sound "Oh" only in the front right speaker.
should be: in front center speaker? or in front speakers?

level: Oasis, begin
problem: sound of waterfall only in front speakers (in rear only when you far away from it). In rear only music.
should be: when it behind you - in rear speakers...

level: Oasis, begin
problem: sound of steps of Sam, when he goes on the grass, in the rear speakers.
should be: in all?

Lift does not work at the beginning of Karnak Demo....If I'm not mistaken I think this was a problem on the orginial tech demo....LOVE THE HD CROTEAM..........

SomeTimes in coop mode I get spawned @ the beginning of the level. And then i will be spawned there every time i die.
I also experienced mayor lags. No enemy's were showing up on my screen, no weapons, no rocket bullets etc. It was probably internet failing or something.

When entering "Thebes - Karnak" netricsa says in the briefing: Night has caught us, but there is no time to sleep.

This is wrong because in SS:HD night actually caught Sam in the previous level (alley of the sphinxes). The Karnak level is no longer set at night like netricsa says; we can clearly see the sun in this level.

I would really like netricsa error like theese to be corrected in a patch, as they make no sense. I understand this is not a high priority for croteam (since its a very minor flaw) but it shouldnt be to hard or time consuming to fix either I think.

I play in someone server each boss level stuck...said his problem with glitch ?!

Ugh Zan decide do not want to play anymore He stand still there funny.
