Ok I set the Proble Light size as big as the map is. Then I adjusted the lightmap sizes and invoked the GI solver again.

Result: http://prntscr.com/6mg13c

1. The character isn't totally black (nice)
2. The wall remained totally black (bad)
3. Can't see the shadows of the objects made by the sun (bad)

Seems to be a problem with the sun. Is it a distant light? How it is set up? Where is it placed?

Can't see much. Also, your video is buggy, it stops playing every 5 seconds.

Listen, why don't you just send me the map and I do the lights for you and that's it?

That's only the wld file. I can't do anything with that, because it will need the models, textures, all that you're using, in the right folders.

Why are the models in their source files? Aren't they saved in mdl files? Also where is are these two folders located within the game folder?

I have those two folders on my Desktop.

Anyway, I made the models using 3DS MAX and exporting in .FBX. From here, I used SED3.5 to convert FBX to .AMF and this .AMF file is the model file i used in the SED3

Amf is just the source. You then save the mesh into bmf, and the model as mdl inside the editor. Otherwise, the models are just local.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I never did it. Anyway, how to save the mesh into bmf and the model as mdl?

Saving bmf is not always important, especially in SSHD. Saving a mdl is: Click the model entity in the world editor, on the Entity tab, click the "model" field and save as. Mind that many models you are using are the same, so you save one model, then select the rest that are supposed to be the same model, and browse the saved model to them.

Now you can give proper shadow uvmaps to all individual models.

I should redo the entire lightmap process or just the shadow uv-mapping?
