PROJECT INVASION G (Subject name to change)

Hey there!

As you probably know, I've been working on a very big project lately.
I temporarely called it "Project Invasion G".
It's going to be one of my last projects for Serious Sam 3:BFE, since I got quite bored of it. When I am done with this I will be probably moving to Talos Editor/Serious Sam 4 Editor.

As I don't want to reveal much yet I am just going to tell these things:

-It's going to play in a japanese setting (duh, pretty obvious )

-You are not going to play as Sam but someone different, a female

-It's going to have over 24 campaign levels with 3 chapters

-Serious Sam 3's story is tied with this project

Looks very good so far! The only thing that bugs me a lil' bit is the lack of details in some places on 2 and 4 screenshots. It's like they are missing something, looking empty. Also, I suppose it's going to be a very "survival-ish" type of gameplay, with huge hordes of enemies considering the huge size of the arenas? Will we see some closed spaces with more complex level-design and moments of peace?

They are still WiP and I only did the basics so far. 5 maps are done with the basics. I am currently working on the details for them.

They won't be really survival like.

There are going to be some closed spaces but not now yet.

So I kept forgetting to update this thread, have some updates!

The project is now gonna have 30+3 secret campaign levels divided into 3 chapters.

Looks great. Rust up those pipes a little. No way they're that shiny so close to open air and water.

It's better to not show anything than showing something that looks incomplete or show a feature that might be cut.

The pipes don't really seem to have a purpose to me. They don't even go from one place to another like any real pipes would. Just saying.

Also, are any of these shots baked with shadow maps?

The pipes are mainly there as a sign of what location this is and yes, I baked pretty much all levels.

From what I posted all so far, yes I've done that all by myself, got some help there and there though when I had problems, later on when Chapter 2 will be made, Marko might help me in designing some of the levels.

Oh man, it looks so good! I'm getting sick of Egypt and recycled models over and over again. Japanese theme is very exotic. It also looks like it could hold tons of enemies

I'm gonna atleast finish my latest one so I got something to show that isn't a year old.

Also, why would you waste everything you've made so far? Or are you gonna re-port it all into SS4?

If everything goes well, he might only have to open the maps in the editor, no need for porting. But I'm not promising anything.
