Not really good, even for your first map. There is no decoration at all, and those gnaars are half-stuck inside that "bridge"

By the looks of things you haven't even got a 'zoned' and 'anchored' CSG to use as the main part of the level, you know the part that provides the gravity

Try to join CSG things together before doing anything else. Because the way the last map you posted was, you couldn't walk around because there was no gravity or anything

And of course you've got a lot to learn Jet, because everything is full bright and looking at the architecture with only one texture used throughout in all of your maps they always look like "my first map" attempts

We're not making fun of you or moaning at you, we're just trying to help you understand what you need to do before actually making a map

Or maybe you should try something much easier? Not legos of course, but something that's more suitable for you (*cough* for your age *cough*). Sure, it's your showcase, but you'll attract a larger audience when you post good stuff

Bah, now I'm just mean. Sorry.

This is one of the few times I agree with SLAwww's opinion about a posted map pic

Jetholt, try mapping with interiors and such, if you want examples, look at Torture Pit map for SS:FE, add your own little details, for example, grab 3 or 4 tga files, make a room or a hall, and put terrain on roof, walls and floor, experiment with it and make your own little cavern, or create like a city or fort in the air of your current map and do some designs from there, I can show you some stuff if you want that, but its all up to you

Ahah, the legos remind me of Mario for some reason, the mario maps on Halflife, that would be rather funny and cool to see some lego map, I might try that

EDIT: That of course would just torture me, I just grab standard legos and build something then put a firecracker in it(If setup right, makes a big mess)

As I said JetHolt, you need to polish your CSG skill before building your map. I know you can't wait, but if you see those evil people around you, they just laugh or mock at you uncontrollably.

Anyway, try this tut, and you should be able to improve your CSG skill:

Actually, about after the time I started mapping for SS1, I made a map of like 30 areas, tested like different shapes and sizes, different ways to place a csg, different ways to play with the polygons and sectors, it where I actually learned half of what I have skill in now, I started my lighting in that lame excuse of a unfinished map called Bathroom Ratz, after finding out Serious Sam does render shadows well(Cause all I used was ambient lights)

You could try something like that to practise each thing, I would learn a tutorial and experiment it in a couple ways in that test map, by time I deleted it, it took 2 minutes to load up on my old machine(400 mhz processor, no fan, 96 mb ram, and a riva tnt pci videocard)

EDIT: Not just CSGs, Polygons and Sectors, some entities like enemy patrols, certain triggers and some of the other stuff that you had to pull out of the gro file
