Difficulty Bug in both HDs

Hello I have a problem with difficulty changes in both SS HD.
It literally make me sick, because seems like steam community don't know about it, but you can complete all levels on serious difficulty only in 1 walkthrough without leaving the game.

I mean when I'm leaving my crap out of this game on any level, then I have this level on serious (it's ok) but on next level you have a number of enemies like on normal difficulty, and if you complete the previous level again it will still then has a normal difficulty stats on the next one.
I have 287 enemies not 320 on serious difficulty at valley of kings, because I left the game at the start of tomb of ramses level earlier.

If you leave the game at Kings Valley then you'll have normal difficulty amount of enemies on Moon Mountains or Oasis.

Guess if somebody can help me.

Yeah, this bug is known, but it was impossible to properly reproduce to find a fix for it. But anyways, the Fusion version shouldn't have this problem anymore.
