Anyway, it's definitely a better number compared to SS3's.

I don't know if SS4 will have the same number of maps as SS3, and if that will be the case... then it's a pity.

Maybe CT could release more maps in the future with patches, or maybe let the community create them and then send to them so they can release.

Would be great.

Well, my plan is to port most SSHD maps to SS4, unless they depend too much on SSHD assets. Then I port the levels that weren't remade for SSHD (Docking Bay and the like). I have some layouts from Warped Deathmatch as well.

Also I do like some SS3 DM maps as well, like UnfinishedComplex and Fiaca. SS3 also got a few unreleased maps that I might inspect.

Then there are the SS4 specific ones, taken from the campaign. I already have two areas from two different levels as candidates for DM levels.

Then there might be some ideas I come up with.

So yeah, there are possibilities for a lot of maps; however, I'm not promising that I can make all of this. I'll try though.

That'd be really awesome.
But keep in mind, as already said in the previous pages, that Serious Sam 3 maps have several leaks that need to be fixed!
Porting them as they are without any fix would break SS4's level design!

SS4's level design wouldn't be broken if the SS3 levels "leaks" won't be fixed, lol. That sentence doesn't make much sense.

Serious Sam 3 has a map with a Sniper that one-shoots, with a high fire rate and with a terribly low respawn delay.

Go and move this design to Serious Sam 4.

Jokes apart, SS3 maps are graphically and strategically well done... but their design urgently requries some fixes. And since you are the designer, don't disappoint me this time

With this said, I think the argument "maps" might be considered exhaustive.

So, it was suggested previously that it should be possible to disable specific vote types... But there have been console functions for this as far back as Serious Sam 2:

samVoteDisable()
samVoteShowDisabled()
prj_strDisabledVoteTypes
And you know what? They still work! The disabled vote types won't be greyed out in the menu, but attempting to initiate them will do nothing at all. Valid strings for the vote types are (obtained directly from the Serious Sam 3 executable):

To note, the "samVoteDisable()" command will accept any string, so it won't produce errors if you put in any invalid strings.

Hey, Solais, what about some info about the current status of the SS4 versus?
Can you/CT make search filter similar to the SS classic (where you can type key words in each collumn and like this to show only the info the player looks for) + add option for each column to sort the result by ascending or descending order.

Also needs extra options like:

- Hide servers with ping less than ____ (where "____" is numeric value)
- Hide servers with ping high than ____ (where "____" is numeric value)
- Show only pure servers (no mods or etc)
- Autohide Italian servers or servers with raging Italians, who don't speak English

Also - make that community maps to be played via the original game, not the moddable version. Just add download of missing resources in the process of joining the game - like in Quake series.

I don't think this amount of filters is necessary if there's not that many servers in HD or 3 to begin with, but it's not a bad thing to have.. Is that pic from CoD2?

Kharkov's defense is still one of the most intense game missions ever.

But I mostly like the MP of CoD:UO - simply the best military shooter so far.

I feel that CoD 2's multiplayer primarily suffered from being slow paced and methodical, a far cry from the first game's and it's expansion's absolute mayhem. However, I think CoD 2 had the better single player, including the best single mission out of any of these games in which you charge up a hill and then defend it. I would kill for another CoD in the same style as the first two but unfortunately it's not going to happen because $.

I'd say the Stalingrad missions in CoD1 were the best and most atmospheric ones, especially the abridged version in Finest Hour. The ebenezer hymn really helps the hype.
