i wanna see it,...


Everything is great in the movie,.. I just loved the physics,... looked even better then halflifes ... graphics is eye dropping.... (I only hope there will be more swiming pools in it )couse i just liked to swim in the FE,.. And it would be nice if the vegetation would bove a bit,.. that would be even more spectacular,..

My first inpresion...

Croats got a game !

They said to us before all this came out that this game would rival the best First Person games of this year (Half-Life 2, Doom III and Halo 2) and they were right. I mean they still have alot of work to do but it's looking good. This is the year of gaming that's for sure!!!

Anyone know what the cause of that things the models do is? I'm talking about that way that the top half of the model twitches from the waist up, first saw it happening on Q3 characters when they would be standing in the char selection screen. Anyway, I hope the final version doesn't have it.

I'm sure it has something to do with the animations or the code running the animations. I know what you mean because I've seen it myself all over. I'm not too bothered by it but it would be better to get nice fluent motion. Can't wait to see how the "ragdoll physics" works when shooting a rocket at a Beheaded Rocketeer or any other enemy.

About model animations........
New SKA (skeletal animation system) is designed to play animations on top of animation (for example walk anim mixed with holding weapon...). Its still not tuned and fixed, along with ai they have some glitches and some anims are missing, no worries it will all be fixed for demo/final game.

evo to je jedini hendikep,.. nije baš bitan,.. ne znam dali je to moguce,.. ali onda bi bilo još fascinantnije,..

about moving plants, its in, like it was in SE (moving trees, destroyable stuff and all), just wasnt added in demo (being lazy i guess ).

"nix" is just some kind of shortcut like "sux" to "sucks"

Yes, some engine tech isnt fully operational (like Deathstar in Starwars....)

Yes, it all depends on framerate, Normalmapping is cool stuff but dangerous to framerare, so depends on scenes complexity we will decide where to put normalmapped models (that also depends on light seting of level).
