Question SSHD: TSE - Play as Enemeis like SS2?

A bit noobish, but I've seen a video of someone playing as enemy models - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV8dC6DuHbA
His download link is dead and it's all in polish. So I'm wondering, does this simply have to do with making their nfo file like in SS2?

I've tried doing a Kleer nfo example:
NAME="TTRSlayerModel.(Enemy)Kleer.Name=(Enemy) Kleer"
MODEL="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Enemies/Kleer/Kleer.mdl"
ANIMATION="Idle"
SELECTABLE="YES"

It's not working 100%. I can only see the Kleer walking on the character menu, but still shows Sam in-game multiplayer moddable. Am I missing something on the nfo?
I heard that it now takes much more effort just to play as an enemy. xD

Well try copying some stuff from Croteam's .nfo files and maybe you will get it to work.

Like here, take a look at Green Gary's .nfo file
Code:
NAME="TTRS:PlayerModel.GreenGarry.Name=Green Garry"
DESCRIPTION="TTRS:PlayerModel.GreenGarry.Description=Pain bringer"
MODEL="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Player/RedRick/Player_Green.mdl"
MODEL_RED="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Player/RedRick/Player_Red.mdl"
MODEL_BLUE="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Player/RedRick/Player_Blue.mdl"
ANIMATION="Idle03"
GENDER="MALE"
SELECTABLE="YES"
And look for what's missing in yours, maybe that will do it? (Remember its case sensitive)

Ok. I just tried the gender and other different animation numbers (I thought Gender and Description didn't matter and enemies don't have red/blue mdl.
Here's what I did:
Code:
NAME="TTRS:PlayerModel.Kleer.Name=Kleer"
DESCRIPTION="TTRS:PlayerModel.GreenGarry.Description=Pain bringer"
MODEL="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Enemies/Kleer/Kleer.mdl"
MODEL_RED="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Enemies/Kleer/Kleer.mdl"
MODEL_BLUE="Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Enemies/Kleer/Kleer.mdl"
ANIMATION="Idle"
GENDER="MALE"
SELECTABLE="YES"
This is what usually happens. He stands and breathes on the character select.

But he's still Sam in-game.

Same with Harpy and Reptiloid. Weird. I copied their same exact file path.

Croteam specifically patched this out for SSHD and beyond. If the model isn't located somewhere within the Models/Player folder, it won't be loaded on the player ingame.

Your best bet would be to re-save the models somewhere within the Models/Player folder... the only problem being that other players would require those models as well in order to see them, just like any other player models. I remember hearing about such a player model pack being distributed privately, but I could be less sure.

Alright! Thanks for the tips guys. Got all enemies working by re-saving them to the player folder. Just curious about the players who can't see them.. Do enemy model hit boxes still get in their way (Biomech for example)? If no, why isn't there no enemy pack on workshop? Unless enemy hit boxes do get in any player's way if that's the cause?

EDIT: Nvm. It's up. Ty!
