Post Major Mouse Lag Problem

Hi, i'm new to these forums. You may have seen me online at Serious Sam 2.

Now the reason i came to you guys is this mouse lag problem. Every time i move my mouse in SS2, it lags horribly. It only happens with this game. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it doesn't work as it still happens.

My specs are in my profile, so please help

Oh and this is a frame-rate problem (that lag), on real SS2

In most cases it was the duel core responsible but I see you are running a single core.
Off hand Id say reduce the mouse sensitivity in windows first to none then adjust the sensitivity in the game menu.
Maybe you can work out a profile to set up for it.
Oh and since its your mouse you may want to tell us what model it is.

My mouse is a Micosoft USB dual reciever wireless mouse.

Also i did what you said, still doesnt work. Here's a bit more info, if i bring up windows task manager with nothing on, i'll just move the mouse and it'll take up anywhere from 20 to 60% Really, a mouse shoudnt take that much CPU power?!

And uh not to sound stupid or anything but, what do you mean by "work out a profile to set up for it?"

You may need to focus on the mouse program, I think you may have the wrong or an outdated version for your system, be sure to uninstall first if you find that the case.
As far as profiles go they are nothing more than programs you can bring up fast to change the mouse.
In some cased for certaim one they will activate on the exe of theyre perspective gmaes but you dont have a game mouse so I would worry about a profile unless your into makeing batch files.

I am very serious though, read those requirmenst for your OS carfully before installing.
You just may be useing some 64bit version you shouldnt be.

Thanks but that's not the problem as i'm running Winxp32bit. This problem happened since last week. I didn't have this problem before and i'm trying to find a solution to fix it. Do you know of any SLI issues that might be causing it?

Thanks for your help

Mmmm...no.
You will have to go to the manufactures site to see if theres a FAQ for that.
You can always try a restore point from before the time it started.
While your there I recommend you try to pin point the day it started and read the restore from that day to see what you installed or did that could be the problem.

This problem doesn't affect everything else. It's when i start SS2 it happens.
The only change i made last week is putting in a new card for SLi [see profile (and i HIGHLY doubt that's causing the problem)].

Thanks for your help though.

Zen, why give advice mate if you clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about?

Expect you've found this out by now but it's an issue caused by enabling vsync when using SLI. Some people say it's better or worse with different SLI rendering modes, but it seems to just change from game to game. No way to fix it other than playing without vsync I'm afraid, apparently it's some kind of inherent problem with SLI. Sucks eh?

I gave sound advice to look for the problem but consider he didnt have his specs put into his user CP at that time either.
Had you been following it as close at the time you have deduced that yourself.
I see you are pretty new here yourself, please fill out your specs as well you never know.

Mmm no you gave the advice of someone who knows nothing about computers but is trying to sound as if they do. Nothing you suggested made any sense, neither did your last post.
