Default Serious Sam Forever

Hey guys, EvilAsh made a suggestion to start a Serious Sam Forever TC. I've made a post about it in the mod/tc forum, hop on over and discuss if you're interested (or if you think it's a good idea).

Edit: btw, the link to that thread in the MOD/TC forum -> http://forums.seriouszone.com/s...threadid=12501

(also posted in the other thread)

Disneyland... O yeah!

I already have a crude but functional rollercoaster... Doing a Big Wheel would take me an hour or two, depending how pretty you want it

Area 51/Roswell... hehehe!

How about a New Orleans trip - Sam does Bourbon Street???

Give me specific mapping requests. I will deliver.

The main thing is getting someone to provide the new textures and any new models.

I am competent with SED, but not as good as guys like Pompey. If you can find a use for me, count me in.

Hmmmm.... I don't know if we want to go as far East as New Orleans. That's a little out of the way if you're heading from LA to Area 51. Besides, I wanted to kind of follow the same path that Duke would be following.

And, we can't call it the search for Blondie. We killed Blondie in SE. Still, what did you have in mind?

Yes. Why?

1. The renewed interest in Duke Nukem may drive the developers to get the game finished quicker. Yeah, right.

2. They will be forced to make the game at least as good as the total conversion.

3. It probably won't be because how can the game come close to Serious Sam's level of old-school destruction mayhem without sacrificing those pretty visuals? That'll teach them to show off with their poncey Las Vegas screenshots for four-odd years.

Are you kidding .. WE killed blondie.. LOL Like that little plot has to be kept true.

GAmes is magic. We can do anything. So its perfectly alright if we center the plot around finding Blondie.

I dunno, I kinda want to stay true to Sam's quest to find a ship and get out to fight Mental. Following the locations of DNF is convenient because there's a spaceship at Area 51. I don't think we should make Duke himself an actual part of the game, Brossaurd might not like that. And I don't want to deal with lawyers.

Thought that would make an excellent end boss, I have to agree. It would be too traumatic.

lol, where is the Black Mesa research facility located? I suppose we could stop by there on the way. Or, it could just be a code name for Area 51. They could be one and the same facility.

Btw, I've updated the other thread with a script. It's nothing set in stone, just a starting point.

When I said Serious SAm Forever.. I meant it as a parody.
And Croteam showed how you could do it without legal ramifications.

Secondly this is a mod Done for fun. There is nothing wrong with having A PARODY of Duke in the game.

So legally we have total rights to have this parody in the mod.

If Serious Sam and Duke Nukem ever met, I'd give 'em two beer's time max before they start trying to kill each other. The Duke's ego's too high to permit another tough guy near for long
