Don't sweat it, you've got a lot on your mind. Did you get an alpha key?

Yup. I only got like 40 minutes of play time though. Played 3 maps (2 1/2 really).
Going to watch a movie with the wife now though, so I hope the alpha stays open through the night, as I will probably play some more later.
Here are the issues I found just playing 2 characters and 2 1/2 maps (quit the 1st map, as stuff wasnt working right, went through ini's, and corrected them, then played):

Very nice.
The video shows that they are listening to both the people that are pro, and casual to not quite pro alike.
I was happy to be a part of the alphas, and look forward to more alpha's and game modes as they share them with us.

Yep, played a bit today. Feels more cluttered than before? Still kind of fun.

There's a lot of details in UI (which is using CEF/HTML/JS for sure, it's god awfully laggy on 4k), and a lot of details in geometry, which causes it to be really hard to see what's going on.

Also some inconsistencies in UI design seemed to have popped up since the alpha which is annoying me a lot.

I managed to get in 3 games, and stuff became more clear over time, but it was still a clusterfuck. I managed to get 1st in a match, too.

Yeah, I liked the Alpha better.
I still really like the game, but the old characters are useless now basically.
They sped up the 0g, but not the non-0g, which is wrong. Alpha had 0g perfect, but non-0g needed a boost, or characters all needed speed boosters. But now its slow as ever in non-0g and fast as F in 0g, which I dont mind the 0g, but hard to hit people now and way too much backdraft? Whats it called? Shooting in 0g makes you go backwards 10x the speed as before, making it not very fun to play in anymore.
I do like the new characters, but dislike they made the old ones slow as F and cant keep up gameplay wise now.

As for ui, they said in the known issues that the ui was WAY under construction still, and was very buggy.
Also, sometimes games get slow, and you have to leave the whole game, and then relaunch it.

Well, I didnt play except that 1 day.
Wasnt as fun to me like the alpha's were.
If it comes out free, I will probably play it, but if they dont change it back to like it was in alpha, and make non-0g areas more fun to play, then I wont play it much.
If its a pay2play, I wont pay (just based on the beta alone).

Totally awesome!

And, they named pricing, $29.99
And, for those that have it, they announced a ps4 version coming.
AND, they announced that ALL future maps and dlc will be FREE, no season pass or anything like it, but they will have skins for sale, but nothing that will affect gameplay or characters.

I really really like this game, and hope a lot of people will like it also.
I am hoping it will be my quake 3 breaker (Quake Champions will be free, and thats looking too slow a paced game for me personally).

Maybe we can make this a 2017 game we play together? Unless SS4 is coming out this year. And IF LB comes out this year. They havent announced release date yet.

FULL open beta starting June 30th.
And, the game can be pre-ordered right now on steam ($29.99).
Here is an interview with CliffyB talking about it a little bit, but saying that they made the movement more Quake like than UT like (which is friking awesome, I have been telling quake 3 people that it is better than quake champions, which it is).
